“ Mayas is a small family run business serving tasty delicious Indian food. The samosas were perfect- crispy outside with seasoned savory inside. We split 2 main dishes with naan- all was delicious spiced well, fresh, authentic and flavorful. There was a steady stream of customers coming in for carryout, as well as the few tables, filling with other diners- a great sign others also find the food at this establishment to be worth returning for. Great find! ”
“ This is our go to place whenever we want authentic Indian food. Small inside but the food is packed with flavor and very affordable. Every time we stop by to pick up our food there are 5 other people doing the same. Don't miss out on this hidden gem of a restaurant! ”
“ The food and customer service are consistently top notch here. The samosas, chana masala, and tandoori chicken are my favorites, but everything I've tried has been really good. Best Indian place I've found in Phoenix! ”
“ Small casual Indian place with big flavors. They have complimentary hot chai for dine-in guests which was nice. I ordered the samosa chaat, chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and mango lassi. Samosa chaat was delicious and there was plenty of chutney, just wish the samosas were bigger as it only came with 2 pieces. The chicken biryani was very flavorful and I liked that it was moist, different from most places where the rice is on the dry side. The chicken tikka masala was more yellow in color, but flavor was to be expected and had a good amount of chicken. Will try the Tandoori Chicken next bc it looked good. Their prices are a little lower than the other Indian place across the street, which now has some tough competition. Seems to be family-owned and run. Thanks to the kind young gentleman who served us! ”
“ Maya Cuisine is an absolute treasure! This small, cozy restaurant feels like home the moment you walk in. The food is truly amazing--top-notch in every way. I especially loved their rotis, dal, and veg korma. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The service is equally wonderful; the staff are warm and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. One delightful touch is the complimentary tea they serve--it's aromatic and comforting, the perfect way to round out the meal. The only minor downside is that the menu could have a few more options, and the space is a bit small. However, that compact size adds to the cozy, home-like ambiance, so it's not really a complaint. ”
“ Tried Maya's tonight for takeout dinner and it was delicious. Malai kofta was perfect and full of flavor. Paneer Tikka masala was good but not amazing. Garlic naan was very fluffy and soft. I typically like a slight crisp to the bottom but overall it was good. Definitely going to be adding them to our list of local favorites! ”
“ So I know this isn't fair, but eating curry with my hands isn't fair either when the ubereats ap specifically asked if I needed a fork and I checked the yes box. That being said, this is by FAR the best Indian food I've had in the valley. The flavors were rich, the spice level perfect, and temperature just right. The chicken vindaloo was sensational. The chana masala was just right. The naan was scrumptious. Mayas kitchen is my new go-to place for Indian food cravings. All I ask for is a fork, and my rating immediately goes to 5 star. We'll see next time I order. 1 plastic fork = 1 extra star. (They brought the fork) Highly recommend this place! #1 ”
“ This is a small - 6 tables - family owned restaurant . The son took our orders and he was very nice. Told us his family is from Nepal. The food arrived quickly. There were 4 of us and we ordered different meals. Everything was delicious. My Chana masala was the best I've had . We will def be returning to Maya's! ”
“ Small hole in the wall that's a gem. Like having your grandma in the kitchen cooking. The food was so delicious, full of flavor and amazing. I'm so glad we came here. We ordered so much to try. Nothing disappointed. Service was friendly and they even have self serve complimentary real Chai tea (hhmmmmm) so yummy. ”
